Question:
Well… here’s just a simple question about a lyric from this song that I have almost always wondered about: "I dreamed I saw Dali With a supermarket trolley He was tryin’ to throw his arms around a girl He took an open-top beetle Through the eye of a needle He was tryin’ to throw his arms around the world" Is that lyric about the genius painter and fellow Taurus/Dragon Salvador Dali? Thanks for any help, Jay
Yes. Any other question or just that?
Response:
Well….why make a Dali analagy… his big ego? Or am I way off base?

Reporting live from The U2 Experience, here’s "Jason" North And South Of the River, it’s like One and With Or Without You, but I really like this one better. it deserves ALOT more credit than its getting, and the only reason being is because its rare and on a single. Another song you might want to add to the underrated list would probably be A Celebration, again….singles. Now think how much bigger U2 would be if they put a few of the songs from singles onto major albums?

Radio must be nice there in the U.K.! you guys get all the good stuff!
mars <<Once I heard "Bullet The Blue Sky" from Rattle And Hum on the radio. One of the DJs likes U2 and I think he just felt like hearing that song! I think all the DJs on Virgin Radio love U2. I’ve heard nearly all of them rave about the band, and there’s usually a U2 song played every shift. Gary Davies in particular seems to adore them, he made me really jealous when he described this amazing U2 concert he went to in Italy once. Harriet Scott loves "One" (like me) and Gail Porter loves "With Or Without You". Also, I would just like to say that I really love "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" – I heard it for the first time on Virgin the other day, and I fell in love with it immediately. What a rockin’ Christmas song! – Annie Vox
